NYX #73 Lime Polish.

NYX. Lime. 5 Coats.
Without Flash.

This was streaky and didn't
even out till the 5th coat!
I don't usually buy NYX polish
and now I remember why.
The color itself I loved
but it was not worth
how horrible it applied.
What do you think of NYX
polishes?
Have you had any issues or do
you love them?

Essence, Break Through.

Essence. Break Through. 3 Coats.
Without Flash.

This polish was easy
to apply but was a little
bit streaky at first.
It didnt take too long to dry.
There is a little bit of
glitter within it.
(photo makes it hard to tell)
The glitter made it a little
too much for me.
You can get away with only
2 coats if you don't
want to wait for it to dry.
I, unfortunately, am not a fan.
:-(
What do you think?

My Possible New Years Nail?

I decided to try out some taping
(very very simple taping that is)
and this is what I got!
I used GOSH Holographic Hero
and Essence Ultimate Pink.
I used black acrylic paint
for the dots.
Then a top coat.
(don't remember what
it was, some cheap thing
I found in the closet?)
If anyone knows any good
vegan top coats let me know!
Hope you like!

My E.L.F. Christmas Makeup!

Very very very simple.
I decided to post this so I those
who want to know a few E.L.F. Products
at once could seeee!
This is pretty much my everyday look
besides the lashes.
:-)

I first start out with
Studio Mineral Infused
Face Primer.
If you have tried the
Smashbox primer,
this is very similar.
Its very silky and
fills in all your pores.
(I also use this on my hair
after using the flat iron
to help with my dead hair!)

Then I use Studio
Maximum Coverage Concealer
in Porcelain.
This is great if you have oily
skin.
And it covers amazingly!

I used my all time favorite
powder, Essentials Clarifying
Pressed Powder in Ivory.
I used to use MAC powder
before they went evil and
I actually prefer this!
(It costs me $1!)
It does not get cakey
and really helps my oily skin.
If I had to choose only one product,
this would be it!

I applied a little bit of
Essentials Shimmering Facial Whip
in Pink Lemonade to my cheek bones.
(Which the picture makes it
very hard to tell I did so)
I am in love with this product.
You can use it anywhere on
your face you want.
It does have a light scent,
but i have very very very
sensitive skin and it did
not bother me.
Neither did the scent.
(and I am a chronic
Migraine sufferer so
almost all scents bother me.)

For my brows I used
Studio Eyebrow Kit
in Medium.
Small amount of wax to
shape and the light powder
to finish them off.
I have tried many many many
different brands looking for the
perfect brow kit and I've finally
found it.
The medium is just right for my
skin tone, but I have also tried
the light and dark versions
as well.
When I was a blonde I
could use the light,
but the dark was just
way to dark for my skin tone.
(keep in mind I'm as pale as a ghost.)

The false eyelashes I used
were the Dramatic Lash Kit.

I then lined my lash and waterline
with Essentials Waterproof Eyeliner
Pen in Black.
Just to cover the false lashes.

I use Studio Lash Extending
Mascara in Black to help blend
together the false lashes
and my real ones.
Also to make my eyes even darker.

 I use Studio
Matte Lip Color in Rich Red
to finish my face.
(because you cant go without lipstick!)
Very Easy to apply.
And really does last all day!
(See my Separate Swatch for this
here.)

To set everything
in place, I use Studio
Makeup Mist & Set.

I hope you liked my little look.
I will try to add swatches for each
product when I can.
If you liked it,
I'd love a follow!
:-)

E.L.F. Matte Lip Color: Rich Red.

E.L.F. Matte Lip Color.
Rich Red.

The pencil shape of this lipstick
makes it extremely easy to apply.
The thing I love most about this lipstick
is that it actually lasted all day.
I wore it on Christmas, put it on
at 10am and when we got home at 8 it
was still brilliant.
This was through wine and dinner.
this is new favorite!
Love love love.

Essence: Let's Get Lost

Essence. Lets Get Lost.
3 Coats. With Flash.

First coat was streaky but the second
coat evened it out.
I love the brushes on all the
Essence polishes.
The brush makes it extremely easy
to apply.
This color is very similar to
Sinful Colors Why Not.
But the great thing about this one
is that it is actually vegan.
I was really glad to find an
alternative to the Why Not
Because that was one of my favorite
polishes.
:-)

Iced Lacquer Christmas Challenge: Christmas Sweater

Iced Lacquer is doing a Christmas
Challenge and day 10 is Christmas
Sweaters.
I didn't like my first take on it,
so I did another but thought I'd
post both.
I suck at nail art so please
be nice!
:-)

My Sad Attempt at Christmas Nail Art.

Please be nice, I have not done
any nail art for a lonnggg time.
And am horrible at it.
But one of my favorite bloggers
is doing a 12 Days of Christmas
nail challenge on her blog
and I really wanted to try one
of the days.

Day 19 was Christmas Trees.
Pretty simple right.
I was like, I can totally do that!
Then I started to try and would
have lost my mind if I was not
watching (well listening) to
'The Office'.

Once again please be nice.
I am new at this.

American Apparel Nail Polish, Neon Purple.

American Apparel.
Neon Purple.
3 Coats. With Flash.

It isn't the easiest
to apply, and it takes
forever to dry.
But their products
are vegan and very
pigmented.
I love how bright
it is!
So I deal.
:-)

Wet N Wild Spontaneous Combustion.

Wet N Wild.
Sparks & Stripes
Collection.
Spontaneous Combustion.

3 coats over
Essence's exits on your right.

3 coats over
Sinful Colors Cream Pink.

Spontaneous Combustion
consists of silver, dark blue
and turquoise glitter
in a clear base.
It was difficult to get the
glitter to spread evenly.
But left a smooth finish.
It also dried extremely fast.

Wet N Wild Mega Last Lip Color Ravin' Raisin.

Wet N Wild.
Mega Last Lip Color.
Ravin' Raisin (916D).

For some reason this color
makes me think of something
an old lady would wear in the 90's.
Yes, I am weird.
I am not fond of this color.
Not only is it too dark for me,
but it was awful to apply.
And I look to much like
an old lady.
Maybe if I wasn't so pale.
The packaging
is also not so amazing.
I've already broke it somehow,
and this is my first
 time even using it.
GAH.

Essence Exits On Your Right.

Essence.
Ready For Boarding
 Collection.
Exits On Your Right.
4 Coats. With Flash.

Very easy to apply.
Applies very smooth and even.
Very quick drying,
But that's standard for
all the Essence polish's I have.
Love the color,
just the right amount of shine.
This is with no top coat.
:-)

Sinful Colors Cream Pink.

Sinful Colors.
Cream Pink.
3 Coats Over 2 Coats
Sinful Colors,
Snow Me White.
With Flash.
Gem Accent.

Now I am aware that Sinful
Colors is no longer vegan,
but I had this bottle laying
around from before Revlon
Went evil and am in love
 with this color.
Not only that, its applies
very smooth and doesn't need
tons of coats to get a very
pigmented color.
I am also obsessed with the
"claw" like nail.
Just don't ask how difficult
it was to type this all out.
:-)

Pink-Red Color.

The Package Also Included
A Clear Gloss.
Which Made It Way To Shiny
For Me.
